So is Smart now going to get the Saban treatment, where everything he says addressing the state of college-football is seen as "crying, whining and complaining" until he everything he said is proven true in the following year or so?

Just curious.

Yep. Injuries are part of the game.

Probably. Didn’t realize how much attention and worshipping y’all got until we won a couple. It’s kinda cool but a little weird.

I don’t think he’s discussing injuries here

It’s like a snippet of a whole interview. Players wearing down and teams experiencing attrition is what he calls the deterioration of football. OP is mad about the grown man football sign still.

He is from the Saban coaching tree.

Nobody cried like a Nick Saban not getting his way. "We need a new rule that benefits me."

Why would you expect less from Bowl Cut?

He isn’t wrong. When your players can transfer at a whim, and many do, you are going to have less experienced players ready to play if a starter gets hurt. That seems like common sense.

Yeah, it's pretty tone deaf, too. What does he think 95% of college football programs have dealt with forever.

Kirby and Saban are the same. Now that they can't stack the chips in their favor they feel helpless.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kirby stopped coaching in the next 2 years.

Funny, because since the introduction of NIL Mizzou's talent level has seemed to have gone up every year.

Poor baby! If only they could have caught a break when football was still great.

Congrats on the talent level increase. Kirby still owns that arse and clearly lives rent free in your Mid-Western skull.
