How are you rating the season? I’d say 7/10

If the 2 wins are against LSU and Mizzou = 6

If the 2 wins are against Aggie and Texas = 7.5

A split with those teams? I'd probably say 8.5/10.

I know, cue everyone screeching "accepting mediocre results is what got us here!!!!!" But with what we have going into this season I'd be pleasantly surprised to win 7 games and knock off 2 of those 4 teams.

Give me 6 wins and a bowl win with Pittman riding off into the sunset having rescued the team from the ravages of Chad Morris and I'm happy. Anything more than that is just icing on the cake.

He won't get 'fired', this is his last gig. He will retire from it. Maybe with a little encouragement, or if things get righted, maybe on his terms.
I hope he does get to ride off into the sunset on Lake Hamilton on a high note.

7-5 with wins against Texas and LSU is about the pinnacle of this program. Especially with this schedule which is looking like a repeat of 2014 in terms of strength.

2014 had better players and less question marks. That was an underwhelming season.

7-5 would be a good season for this team.

This Missouri thing is starting to irritate me somewhat.

Pittman will probably be retained and this be evidence of his improvement while we backslide the following year. This program is dead...

I would rather get irritated by Texass. I hope playing them will wake Arkansas up and push them to become a better problem.

Texas at least has some advantages in recruiting territory and budget money, not to mention probably in NIL as well. So a loss to them is a little easier to swallow for me, though there's nobody I'd rather see us beat.
There is absolutely NO reason that Mizzou should beat us regularly though.

11/10

Considering I don't think we are better than 4 wins (hope Im wrong) I'd take that in a heartbeat.

Texas should have stayed in the Big 12 because the SEC has too many good teams that can beat them every Saturday. Besides money, they have nothing to gain by joining this conference.

I talked to a former player that played under Lou Holtz. He said if you lose too many times to Texas then you're seat was getting hot. This was one of many reasons, not the only reason that Holtz and Hatfield didn't last long at Arkansas as they lost too many times to Texas. Doesn't matter how many good or bad teams they had. The hatred is what made Arkansas better and something they lacked in these fake rivalries.

I don't hate or dislike Missouri because I don't put them in the category of a college football villain like Texas. It doesn't help it is another fake rivalry forced on hog fans by the SEC.

What’s the Over/Under? 4.5? That’s beating expectation I would say 8/10.

I don’t hate them, but I absolutely hate losing to them.

This. Mo has put the wood to us wayyyy too many times the last decade. Until we regularly beat those clowns and their dorky little coach, we aren't a legit football program.
