Who’s the best SEC returner of all time?

I’ve got Javier Arenas strictly because he had 7 punt return TDs and won us multiple games by giving us excellent field position.
There’s a bunch of greats to choose from though. Dennis Johnson, Brandon James, Boykin, Holliday, etc.

Brandon Boykin was electric.

David "Duece" Palmer was a beast

David Palmer should be in the conversation. LSU has had several over the years.

He was awesome. Mid to late 2000s was best years for returners in SEC history.

Brandon James
I might be a little biased here.
Also Abner from Kentucky was really good.

Well, he is 9 yds behind Wes Welker for all time NCAA return leader in yardage and leads SEC in TDs and yards returned, so it's kind of a no brainer

Ace Sanders has to be mentioned along with Deebo.

Antonio Perkins enters the chat (2001-04)
Nobody did it better than Antonio Perkins — in a career, in a season, or in a game. Perkins’ three punt returns touchdowns and 277 yards against UCLA in 2003 remains the NCAA standards, but his excellence was always on display.
In 2002, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Lawton product set a school record with 647 punt return yards (on 43 runbacks), averaged 15.0 yards per return and scored three touchdowns. In 2003, on 53 returns, totaled 642 yards, averaged 12.1 per return, and scored four TDs.
His 1,441 career punt return yards remains an OU record that is likely untouchable.
Perkins earned consensus All-America honors in 2003 as a return specialist, but he also had 11 career interceptions. Perkins was a fourth-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2005 NFL Draft (103rd overall) and played six games in two NFL seasons.

Cordarrelle Patterson.
He parlayed a single season in the SEC (2012) into being a first round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
He is still in the league.

Isaiah McKenzie at UGA. The human joystick. He's not the best but he's probably the best that UGA has had.
Position was slot receiver but half his highlights are punt returns.
