Which game will be his last?
It’s hard to say with an interim president but once Miami beats Florida to start the season and then Texas A&M and UCF beats them it becomes clear that he’s gone. My money is after the Kentucky game when he loses that one we’ll have an interim head coach to go with our interim president. The only way he survives is if the University President doesn’t make the call in order to allow the next one to have the honors.

Half way through the season

I think you guys are going to love Lane Kiffin next year

I have nearly$26 million reasons that, unless this team quits on him, he'll be our coach for the 2025 season.

If that is his buyout, he will probably get another year. They can always blame this year on the schedule.

quote:Yeah, I agree unless a job comes open that is on par with Florida. Then it will be the race to let him go just like Georgia did to Richt when they knew we were going to go after Kirby Smart. That would be (Lane Kiffin) their Kirby Smart panic. It worked out for Georgia, and we got stuck with Muschamp.

Unfortunately, what that loser Fuchs back at the helm, Napier could go 1-11 and get retained. Fuchs hates Florida, hates The South, hates tradition; he wants to make Florida into "Public Ivy", and sees football as an obstacle to his dream.
He needs to go back to Cornell

We definitely needed to start another thread about Napier and being let go.

Florida is already a “Public Ivy”.

Trust me, if Fuchs had his way, football would be destroyed so that he can preen to all of his Ivy league friends. He wants Florida to become like Cornell or Yale. Total shitbag Okie who is aware he never was seen as quite equal with his Yankee Cornell buddies and overcompensates like tgis for their approval

He is gone if this season is like the last 2. That won't save him. Our AD might survive with the President situation though.

Shane Beamer will be gone before Napier.
That’s my hot take for the season.

The media narrative about how impossible the schedule is already setting him up nicely.
A very average record like 8-4 , “against this gauntlet schedule?!” Gets him praise, and 7-5 against the most impossible schedule ever conceived probably gets him 1 more year.

We've already stated it will be the bye week after another home loss to Kentucky and the next skull dragging from Georgia

Whose idea was it to setup a schedule where UF could very well lose to three schools in Florida in the same year?

Where is theCAW? This thread has his name all over it.

Come on now! He is turning out to be a good HC. Give it a rest! Give him a chance. Please! He is on his way to do what Drinkwitz did last year. Might not get 10 wins but getting the team to turn around is the key. He will be back next year. Guarantee you that. Plus, Florida will beat teams like Miami, Kentucky, LSU, and another surprise and I haven't seen the schedule for this team. I am not even a Florida fan, but I do like what he has done so far. The schedule is what will keep Florida from getting to 10 or more wins.
