That's a nasty hit but is it really harder than the South Carolina kid who blew up the RB in the backfield and knocked his helmet into the bleachers?

Can't remember his name. I think the RB was from Michigan?

Most brutal hit I’ve seen. Wasn’t considered dirty or a penalty back then. Don’t like that the guy was defenseless and got hurt. I seem to remember they said his jaw was broken.

Yes it looks way more brutal bc man wasn’t even expecting it, I used to think Mack Wilson on speedy noil was the hardest hit I’d ever seen but I saw this one a few months ago and it’s the worst looking

It's great to see V is filling our defensive roster with guys like that again instead of Riley and his ankle divers.

Watching that video, man we were really taken a long way away from our identity. Geesh....

Not SEC, and I actually hate both teams, but I love this hit..

What's really depressing about all the big hits in these videos, is almost all of them would be disqualified and sit out the next week....pathetic.

Are the penalties working? Would be curious to take a look at the data from the last 15 years or so…

I like the targeting rule where you cant lead helmet to helmet and kill a guy.

But I like the shoulder to shoulder knockouts.

I agree on targeting by leading with the crown...but anymore it seems like knocking the shite outta someone is likely to get penalized.
