there were some great moments that didn’t feel as momentous at the time. Carter running down Ingram and somehow the ball rolling to the endzone. Fairley being, well, Fairley.

Remember telling my dad when Bama was up 21-0 that if they scored another TD it was game over. We punched out the ball for the turnover then held them to a FG on the next possession. After we scored the first TD it was over. There was nothing that was going to stop Cam and Auburn from winning that game. Not even the refs who aided in the first half with the BS penalty on Fairley that gifted bama their third TD

Still don't know how Sabin got into Auburn's play calling.

I've heard that they got our signals or that Sabin had figured out that his defensive sets would cause our office to check off to a given play. Either one could work.

Don’t blame Saban for that. That’s on us. If they figure out our signals because we were too clueless to hide them it’s our job to adapt and change things up. Which we did.

Auburn Maryland 1983. I think this was the season that allowed the birth of the BCS after the sports mediots gave Miami the mythical national championship. Auburn won the computer NC awards.

BS SEC Front Office PF call on Fairly almost cost us the game.

Unfortunately, a lot of my memory of 2010 is marred by the BS Marc Richt pulled and the SEC front office letting the entire UGA team skate on the bench clearing rule, then a BS call on Fairly early against Alabama on a critical third down stop. At least what Fairly did was done on the field in the course of play. Mark Richt and the UGA players should have been thrown out of football.

I lost all respect for the SEC that year and will never do the SEC chant again.

There were a lot of pivotal moments in that game but to me Carter’s play on Ingram was THE play of that entire game. Without that play we lose…badly.

Auburn Tennessee 2004. That's the kind of dominance I'd like to see in every game!
