No such thing. They were the biggest game for a time but so was Florida, Clemson, and now Georgia and none of them are rivals. The only reason I cheer against LSU is because this site is hilarious when LSU loses

It's usually a really good game and always a VERY physical game. There's a reason Bama plays a cupcake the following Saturday, because our guys are usually really beat up from the LSU game and kind of emotionally drained whether Bama wins or loses.

Michael Williams was down with possession of the football. One of the worst calls in college football history to rule it as a interception.
That's Alabama football at the 1 yard line with that OL and Trent Richardson four downs to punch it in.
That horrendous call cost Alabama a Western Division Title, SEC Title, Trent a Heisman Trophy and a perfect season.
Trent was the Heisman favorite after Rivalry Weekend. Trent didn't play during championship weekend, RGIII did. Trent would have went for over 200 years and several touchdowns against Georgia in the SEC Championship Game and clinched the Heisman Trophy.

Dual possession always goes to the offense, except that time. LSU guy wrestled it away on the ground when the play should’ve already been whistled dead. One of the worst calls I’ve ever seen go against Bama

Yeah, I remember that terrible call with Michael Williams. One of the worst in the history of college football. Williams CLEARLY came down with the ball on his own and then the LSU guy just reaches over and yanks the ball away.

Love it. Stunned after preparing to celebrate for the past 20-30 minutes at least while LSU tried to run out the clock on that last drive.
