“I don’t know the percentage of play calling between Nix, Kent and I. Every game will be different with that,” Freeze said.
Nix will have “free rein” early in the game, and as the game moves on and things change, the game plan might change.
Until we say we have to scrap the game plan, these are the things we want to see,” Freeze said.
Austin will handle third-and-longs, and Freeze will handle specific play calling when it comes to position on the field, and obviously be involved with adjustments and chiming in where he sees fit.
“Who is going to take the lead on every game planning facet? That will be shared with everyone in that room. I think from game to game, it’s hard to say,” Freeze said.

What do I know? Judging by his answer might be adderal. This leads back to his stupid answer last season about not "coaching" in some games, and he's now playing those stupid games again. Auburn has seen an offensive guru coach waffle with play calling duties under anemic offenses and we dont want to go back there again.

That might be true but he made it clear how playcalling would work. Whoever had the hot hand would get priority that day. 3 people trying to get the play in the headset in 15 seconds sounded weird at the time, if he is the play-caller, but it really doesn't matter to me.

Nix won't be calling any plays. They hired him to recruit; especially Mississippi. Kent Austin, on the other hand is brilliant but, Freeze's ego won't let him or anyone else run things.
