[Mandel] Per the AJC, there have been *24* incidents in which "an individual associated with Georgia football has been apprehended by police for speeding, reckless driving or (DUI)" since the high-speed, alcohol-related crash that killed 2 people in January '23.

Zero were felonies or serious misdemeanors.

All were traffic related and citations.

frick off.

This kind of thing can happen anywhere but UGA does seem to have more than it's share.

These aren't arrests. I've found a grand total of 4 arrests since Willock passed away. There may be 1-2 others I missed.

These are mostly speeding tickets.

Somehow, we will be led to believe this is the police department's fault.

Too bad they did away with the Fulmer Trophy. Georgia would be going for a 3peat.

On one hand it's funny to joke about, but it's becoming increasingly clear that he's not doing a damn thing to try and curb this behavior. It's a slippery slope. He might look up one day and realize he's Urban Meyer.

I'm just glad the AJC is continuing to spend the time and resources to report on UGA speeding tickets instead of the squatters who took over the proposed police training area, the corrupt Fulton County DA, or any of the other issues the city has.

Because I want to know when a 21 year old drives 75 in a 55.

Well, the 2 most recent ones did have to post $26 bail. How the hell did they come up with that number?

Chico's Bail Bonds NIL deal.

With a bail for both of them at 2,600 cents, it is clear the courts think they are a flight risk.

"Apprehension" is not an arrest, it's cleverly deceitful language that includes speeding tickets.
