Georgia players Smael Mondon, Bo Hughley arrested on reckless driving charges

Mondon was arrested by Athens-Clarke County Police on charges of reckless driving and racing on highways/streets, while Hughley was arrested by UGA police on charges of reckless driving and failure to maintain lane/improper driving on road. According to the Clarke County jail log, Hughley was booked at 8:37 p.m. on Tuesday night and released at 10:08 p.m. that night. Mondon, meanwhile, was booked at 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday night and released at 12:25 a.m. that night.

I mean seriously wtf has to happen to curb this shite at this point? One of your teammates and a staffer already died. There is a lawsuit pending against another former player. There have been an embarrassing amount of players involved in similar crimes to the point you can't just assume you're going to get away with it. Grow the fvck up. I remember the mondon recruiting battle. That's been several years ago, that guy ain't that damn young.

I hate it but student athletes in CFB no longer exist. These are paid professionals that are here to play football. We will start seeing these incidents handled differently as well, maybe instead of suspension we will start seeing fines and then behaviors will change.
