Going to make amends (Arkansas Edition)

Over the next few weeks I'm going to try to repair this bad relationship we have with the SEC (except for aggy and Utenn fck them) starting with Arkansas. First of all this heated rivalry was really more of our grandparents us younger people don't hate ya'll.
Your state is beautiful, the campus is nice, your girls for the most part are hot, your stadium is a ruckus. Your football team might not be as good but but your baseball and basketball teams are always pretty solid.

I don't hate them, its weird to hate them cause my grandparents hated them I'm being honest lol, I have relatives in Arkansas and they're my favorite people so maybe I'm wrong but I just don't get the hate.

Mind games are mostly for girls, I'm just being honest even though I'll get some pushback from my fanbase maybe their experiences were different. I graduated 3 years ago maybe if it was 20 years ago it would have been different.

I grew up near the Arkansas/ Texas border and hated Texas fans when I was younger because most of them were prototypical t shirt wearing douchebags, but after Johnny manziel almost everyone of those types became Aggie fans, so I realized I didn’t hate Texas, I hated the trailer trash around East Texas that runs from Texarkana through Carthage.

Growing up from the 60s till we left the swc it was always a David vs Goliath type of thing for me. We weren’t supposed to beat them given the circumstances but we did and when we didn’t they knew they were in a fight. Early on the advantages recruiting wise were ridiculously in favor of texas and we were the ones who were the thorn in their side.
Now that things have somewhat evened out, though texas still has the upper hand, I still feel the same way and I look forward to playing more regularly now. I miss having a true rivalry game. That was the only thing I didn’t like about leaving the swc.
