I'm intrigued by the new rule regarding unlimited assistant coaches now

I know it's not free but holy cow, you could now have an assistant for just TEs, one for just special teams, one for just guards, one for just centers, one for OTs, etc.

If nothing else, I'd like to see a lot more emphasis on aggressive, consistent special teams. Yes, we've got a really good kicker and punter but I'd love to see more punt returns and more blocked punts/FGs/PATs. Maybe we can get that with a specialized coach who only works nothing but special teams?

I'd like to have a specialized "don't block in the back" assistant coach.

Or a "don't return a kickoff from inside the five yard line" assistant coach.

Pretty sure unlimited coaches didn't magically remove his show cause. He's radioactive until the end of the decade.

Block in the backs would be beneficial if we were LDU...

Bill Clark talked about this year's ago that Bob Stoops told him. Stoops said that more assistants would be a plus. That was the advantage Bill Clark had in High School at Prattville High School that Stoops conveyed to him.

They should hire his brother, give him an earpiece and GoPro with Jeremy on the other end and tell the NCAA to **** off.

With the new Virginia law, what he did is legal now. Seems like it's something he could get removed early.

This helps Courtney Morgan tremendously. Having an unlimited staff essentially means Alabama can patch areas and optimize places that wouldn’t otherwise have an expertise than an assistant or manager believed he needed help in. Makes recruiting 100% easier and turns Alabama into a nightmare of a football program even without Nick Saban.
