People will complain about any rankings sent out but these are fine with me. The only problem I have is Colorado way too high in both offense and defense

Also, these rankings only matter for like a month since they will probably update all the ratings based on results throughout the year

I think our Defensive will be right around the 25 mark so I'm not gonna sweat it when I don't see them listed.

I compared these to the NCAA and ESPN stats from last season.

They are completely different.

They must be using a lot more data in their formula for ranking them.

I’m doing either UTEP or Kennesaw as my dynasty. Did either of them make the top 25??

If Colorado is 20th here and 8th on offense, that must mean they thin they are at least a preseason top 15 team

Talk about hype machine engaged, but CU got popular last year and they want to capitalize on that without a doubt. Their product is to sell games ultimately. Making Colorado look good will help that

You can tell they just decided to put the biggest brands at the top. Colorado is arse but Deion has done a great job marketing them and so EA assumes people will want to play with them, so they made them way better than they should be just for that reason.

It's equal to Colorado, so maybe it's accurate?

That's a good point. I disagree with a lot of these, but they should adjust.

The problem is I'm not seeing much logic in the rankings as is, so if logic isn't there initially it won't be there for updates either.

Here is the secret formula:

If you rank the teams with a lot of fans higher, they are more likely to buy the game.

Rinse and repeat every year.

Pretty sure it's simply based on the ratings of the players. Stats are relative and dependent on who you play.

Colorado was 4-8 last season...but both units are ranked in the top 25?

SC was 4-8 with a a far tougher schedule.

exactly. Which is why Colorado is rated so high. They know people are going to want to play with them and Deion has attracted a lot of fans.
