And now catcher Brady Neal is in the portal, too.

Bunch of dead weight being cut

Back of the bullpen junk arms.

Kids that never played

And then you have Kling and Neal. Kling got benched by freshmen and Neal can’t stay healthy

Cam Johnson is an elite arm.

Johnson knows how to pull from portal though. He will end up with a net positive. Very little doubt in my mind.

Neal is the biggest loss and he’s not great defensively at catcher. The other guys didn’t play a ton of meaningful baseball. LSU will be better next year.

His stats say otherwise.

Guy had like 16 walks in 9 innings of work. He also lost velocity through the year.

I think the staff would welcome him back but no one that left is a weekend starter or even a reliable arm for us.

Cam is a talented arm not elite till he can throw strikes.

I’d rank the losses as

1. Neal - he is still really young, did look good in regional but he is hurt too much

2. Kling - he has potential but hasn’t lived up to it and still great in OF

3. Cam- big lefty but can’t find the plate and his 98 isn’t a real 98 since he sits more like 95 and he kept getting worse

The rest aren’t even worth ranking

Didn't we turn over almost the entire roster after Childress' last season?

It’s the way of the college world now especially the guys that had left.

I’d be much more concerned if guys we projected to be weekend guys or full time starters left

Say like Monster Milam, Braswell, Larson or Brown

I’ve been saying that lsu has so far been unable to compete in the nil era. Hopefully they can find funding from somewhere

If LSU doesn’t add some talent, they will struggle to be a middle of the pack SEC team next year.
