A well-noted Southern city ranked #1 as dirtiest in the nation (no, it's not Baton Rouge)

This city overtook Newark, New Jersey, as the dirtiest in the U.S. of A. It also was ranked as having the most cockroaches. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, yuck. To overtake Newark takes a lot of accomplishment, too!!
I never liked this place when visiting and I still don't like when I'm not there. It has the worst climate, thick humidity, ugly landscape, overrun with floods, mosquitoes, gators, lordamercy....how do the ones who live there live there?
Oh, it smells there, too.
This city looks like Uganda when it rains there. When does it not ever rain there???
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you.............
HOUSTON, TEXAS!!
Rounding up the top 10 are:
San Bernardino, Calif; Detroit, Michigan; Jersey City, New Jersey; Bakersfield, Calif.; San Antonio, Texas; Fresno, Calif.; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Yonkers, New York. New York City came in at 12.

You think it was a good idea to post pictures of a natural disaster (Hurricane Harvey) to talk shite about a city? WTF is wrong with you?

That's incorrect. No city beats out Bakersfield. Any fruits or vegetables advertised as California-grown needs to be doubly washed.

Agree. Houston is a butthole. Even the nice places are blocks away from crime infested dumps. The people are a little swampy for my taste but at least they’re tougher than the Dallas/Austin breeds. The cancer allies of BR and Beaumont were probably too small to make the list.
San Antonio used to have clean air but it’s probably in decline now that every catalytic converter is stolen. My friend got his drive shaft stolen at a nice hotel there. Who does that? I had my truck’s door lock broken out. They need to get their act together.

While those pics are post Harvey those scenes are not unusual in Houston....a heavy afternoon rain can flood a BUNCH of the city.
Houston is FAR better today than it was in the mid 1980s. Not a bad place at all today, the worst of the oil patch in the mid 80s. Houston is also, in my opinion, far better than Dallas. Houston is the south, Dallas is the mid west.

And how is this SEC sports related?

Have you been to Austin, TX lately?
Holy crap, that is a shite hole if I have ever seen one.

This is not SEC Sports related. It is simply a low-energy post from a quadruple-boosted COVID-era user.

Agreed. Bad form. I had some friends who were on the receiving end of that and it wasn't pretty. And of course we have been on the receiving end of some bad storms on the coast. It's nothing to joke about.

Agreed. I've had to drive through that town many times, and it is without a doubt the dusty arsehole of the world.
I'd rather drive through the Nestle cow fields of Modesto, where the stink is so bad it can kill dung beetles from 2 miles out.

Surprised OP didn't use the Oklahoma City bombing pictures for Oklahoma. What a jackass.
