if that holds, the SEC has a chance to hold all 8 seats in Omaha
1 Tennessee
2 Kentucky
3 South Carolina (2 seed)
4 Texas A&M + Texas (2) + Florida (3)
5 Arkansas
6 LSU + Miss State (both 2 seeds)
7 Alabama (3 seed)
8 Oklahoma, 9 Georgia + Vanderbilt
It won’t happen and yes, it’s also true without Texas and Oklahoma..

I always enjoy listening to their podcast on their final projections. Then they have a reaction show after the brackets are released. And finally they have a good regional bracket breakdown a few days later.

You're starting to think like an SEC fan.
Congrats.
However, your username continues to suck rancid bovine balls.
There is nosuchthing as a BigBro in this conference .... a conference in which any program might win it at any given time.
You'll soon learn. It is the greatest dysfunctional fricked up family ever.
UTa and OK are just a few days away.
But y'all ain't no one's big bro in this league of all sports.

I second this! Their breakdowns are fantastic.

Must’ve been several bid stealers yesterday for Florida to have fallen all the way down to last team in.
Posted on 5/27/24 at 7:17 am to BallHawg10
Also Florida State has jumped Georgia for that last Top 8 spot now

We needed the 40th win and didn’t get it.

That's probably the toughest top four of any of the super regional pairings

True, it still kinda sucks we'll be left out due to sec bias. Actually idk if bias is really the correct word actually...but I can see why the committee wouldn't want one conference hosting that many supers.
Looking at resumes ours is better almost across the board compared to FSU or ou.
Oh well such is life. I'm just glad to be excited about June baseball again.

There’s usually a chance for this every year. SEC has gotten 4 of the 8 several times but that’s the most as far as I know. 2 is pretty much the minimum and 3 most years

Pretty damn good job this year for our new coach. Haven’t hosted since 2019.

Congrats. Have always felt like UGA should be a way better baseball program than they have been. So much talent in the state. This league is just going to keep getting better and better which is absolutely absurd with how good it already is

If you haven't watched the video, they spend about ten times as much time talking about who makes the field and the seeding as they do about who to send where. I suspect that the committee probably spends a little bit more time on the final pairings and, as a result, I think it will look pretty different. There are some obvious choices based upon the travel policy, but not having a regional in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, is pretty unusual, and will probably result in teams making some trips that they usually don't make.

Polk revived the program and Perno had us going in the early 2000s. 4 CWS between 01-08 and then that loss in the CWS championship in 08.

How did Kentucky hold the overall #2 seed after that performance in Birmingham?
