Potential to be a dumpster fire? Absolutely

I mean, there's the truth, and then the answer you want to hear.

As soon as we match him up with a real OC I'm going to get right back to you. And John Milner would have struggled to spell QB. I see why you were attracted.

There are 2 questions and they are kind of mutually exclusive. So to which question are you referring?

I don't really know how to measure potential. But if you use recruiting rankings, he's a 4-star recruit and Bama has had 5-star recruits over the years, so I'm going to say "no".

AJ McCarron - 4 star
Jalen Hurts - 4 star
Mac Jones - 3 star
Tua Tagovailoa - 5 star
Bryson Young -5 star
Jalen Milroe - 4 star

Good response, but I doubt he gets it.

He is the worst QB we've had since McElroy

A point made on an incorrect premise isn't much of a point.
Milroe doesn't look to have more potential than any Bama QB ever. Tua and Bryce had more potential coming in.
I don't think the second point is accurate either. Andrew Zow was pretty inconsistent. Blake Sims might have been the most inconsistent though. He had 445 yards passing and a 70% completion percentage against UF one week, then two weeks later against Arkansas he had 161 yards passing and 52% completion. Two weeks after that he was at 286 yards, then a week later 209 yards with a 44% completion. Three weeks water he's got a game with 312 yards and a 74% completion.
Sims was all over the place.

LOL. You’re still missing what should be an obvious point, which is that a lot of Alabama fans keep talking about Milroe’s “potential “ though the truth is that he’s going into his 4th season and is incredibly inconsistent.

I don't know that he's been that inconsistent. He had two bad games in the first half of last season... Texas and Arkansas. Since then he's been pretty consistent, with about a 65% completion and 210-ish yards passing.
He hasn't had any great passing games, but he's been consistently "meh" as a QB. Fairly efficient, not very prolific. I don't really fault him for having some inconsistency in the first half of his first year as a starter. That's pretty common.
He hasn't been great, but he's been consistent in his performances.

He inconsistently led us to an SECC last season and a playoff birth in his first season starting.

Phillip Simms and Blake Barnett were 5 stars as well weren't they?

Jay Barker “led” Alabama to a national title his redshirt freshman year. He completed 4 passes for 19 yards in the title game.
