Texas and USC haven’t won shite in years!
Texas just finished higher than every SEC team last year after winning both the Big 12 and SEC championships

I wonder what that says about the rest of the conference... so Texas is entering a conference with 15 other teams that haven't won shite in years?

WOW! Can't believe the schedule is about to get so much easier!!

Less all-time wins, losing record on the field

Is Clemson more of a blueblood before Ohio State?……

Clemson is a 9 win program that deviates to elite periodically. Ohio state is an 11 win team year in and year out. They’re always in the hunt. That’s the difference………now back to Texas…….they stink it an awful lot to be comparing themselves to Ohio state lol

This is not technically accurate.

You finished higher than every SEC team in the AP poll. In the coaches poll, Texas was behind UGA.

There is no final CFP poll (the "official" one).

a lot of programs have a lot of money. I couldn't care less about that. I just want to win.

UTexas has a HUGE problem. They have massive amounts of money from boosters but then the booster expect access in return. These boosters have built empires in their field and expect they should be able to do the same thing with the Longhorn program.

I think that that is the reason why the State of Texas has only won 1 NC in football in the last 50+ years

I am not sure how Texas fixes this except to limit access.

Actually that is common knowledge. You could take out winning percentage but essentially what Blue Blood means is "programs considered to be among the most elite, either contemporaneously or historically"

With Ohio state NIL going beast mode and Ryan Day who can put up very productive offenses, but now buying top defensive talent. If he figures out how to play more physical, OSU will be a top contender unfortunately.

With the amount of talent on the sidelines, and Bama at least taking a slight step back recruiting without Saban, it’d be pretty shocking if Ohio State doesn’t win a natty here pretty soon

Clemson doesn’t have the consistency or historical success of LSU & UGA. They were pretty much Aggy until 10 years ago while LSU & UGA have historical and current success and did it with a lot of consistency give or take a few down years here and there. Ohio State is also in a completely different world historically and currently as Texas. Y’all aren’t close to what you think you are. Do you also think Yale, Army, & Navy are blue bloods? Because the only way you can leave LSU & UGA out while keeping teams like Texas, Nebraska and even Michigan until the last couple years in is if you’re just using ancient success and wins in 1950 to come up with the list. Congrats on being part of a list that means absolutely nothing if we go with your criteria

But... Texas was more relevant than every single SEC team just last season?

You were born in February but are already advanced enough to type on keyboards, surf the world wide web and post on message boards?

dude... that's IMPRESSIVE!

We were in the same division as the best team in college football. Hard to win the East that way regardless of how good you are. We beat the top two west teams that year as well.

LSU has been in the same division as the program that’s had the best run in the history of the sport since 2000 and they’ve still managed to win 5 SEC titles, 3 natties and play for a 4th. Tennessee fans are something else
