Didn’t think that was good.
Skenes walked two and allowed three earned runs and six hits over 84 pitches in his first outing in the big leagues. The first run he allowed came on a Nico Hoerner home run in the fourth inning.

Trolling a 21 year old that just made his MLB debut less than a year out of college?
He’s going to give up a lot more hits and home runs in his career. He also has a chance to be an all star.

He’s trolling you not Skenes.

Do you have any idea what the jump from college to the MLB is? There's no comparison. He will give up some hits and runs just like every MLB pitcher does. That's not a bad outing for a rookie.

Touche.
My point stands. I’m sure he would’ve liked to have pitched better, but it was by no means a disaster. I imagine he will look better as he settles in.
ETA: He also left out the part where he struck out 7

Maddux is shaking his head at these pitchers today.
Somewhere Cy Young is laughing his arse off at pitching in general over the last 50 years.

Yes, but have you seen his girlfriend?

Unfortunately not every highly touted pitcher pans out. He could be a very effective reliever if he keeps at it

The OP never got past slow pitch softball.

Didn't see that as a troll. He stated his stats in a non-agressive manner. I think everyone is a fan of Skenes. He gives NIL money to military charities. We all like him, and he fun to watch throw.
Maybe you're just too sensitive and fragile. Ya'll need to stop putting these athletes on some pedestal just because they played for your team. It's celebrity crushes. Just relax.
Posts like these are a bit needy.
Edit
Awww look at the downvotes. Some touchy feely grown men...

Men's Modified or Fast Pitch is easier. I was a power hitter when I played here in Greensboro leagues.
Fast pitch is easier to hit. It's a flat pitch.
A good slow pitched ball requires good timing for good contact.

Yeah, he's trash & a bust, they should cut him now

Guess that means in 1st 3 innings he was untouchable. Not bad for 1st MLB game. Struck out 1st batter he faced.

84 pitches in 4 innings. Weird way of saying it was a good outing.

He pitched 4 innings and threw 84 pitches. Not very efficient. Maybe first start jitters.

Wouldn't have made the weekend rotation at Tennessee last year, amirite?
