Do we have mediocre DBs? That would be a nice upgrade from last year. I'm sure a lot of our guys have progressed but acting like we're in such a good position that an addition is laughable is weird. We just went after the Wake Forest kid, what makes you think we're too good for Mack?

Jones has started at DB, whereas Mack was mostly on special teams. He probably isn't giving any contribution to the secondary coming in this late.

Some of you come across as those types of people that buy everything at the grocery store you see, then two months later you're cleaning all of the rot out of your refrigerator.
We have a ton of DBs. There's no reason to recruit one that doesn't jump out head and shouldes above what we already have.
We need to be focusing on DT almost exclusively.

He was a top 100 recruit just last year.

Why do you say he is mediocre?
Lsu will be relying on sage and major burns again. That is worrisome.
He was only at Penn st for one yr and was pushing for a starting spot. Penn state has been putting quality dbs in the league. Something lsu used to do.

Did you watch any LSU games last year? Easy to know the answer to your question if you watched just a few of the games.
