Don't even get me started with the Saints organization right now
Mond is probably not far off from Carr right now
and on top of that, Peterson is still on the roster
Haener got popped for PED's last season
Rattler is the least of our worries

Which one do you remove to put him on?

Johnny Manziel?
Bucky Richardson?
Cory Pullig?
Kevin Murray?
Ryan Tannehill?

Never understood how Jimbo felt Mond was the seconding coming [minus the stolen crag-legs]. Seemed like he played in the SEC about as long as Bo Nix.

I think the length of his tenure had to do with his dwindling NFL chances, COVID, and Jimbo's head-scratching QB recruiting thereafter.

People forget that he was a pretty touted dual threat coming out of IMG. He was Baylor bound until the Art Briles rape factory was uncovered. He showed flashes of that athleticism through his sophomore year., especially in that game we should have won against #1 Clemson in Kyle Field.

Jimbo made him stiffer, more pocket-based and multiple read oriented, and all that high school athleticism just vanished.

There is a long running debate on whether Jimbo would have been fired earlier had Mond not been one of the few QBs to get his head around Jimbo's one thousand option offensive scheme that confused the s$%t out of everyone else once Mond left.

Anyway, not an NFL caliber QB. He was given chances but not everyone gets to play in the league.

Corey Pullig got the chance to hand off to three NFL running backs and never worry about offensive production because he was supported by a defense full of future NFL All Pros that controlled most every game.

He operated the R.C. Slocum three yards and a cloud of dust scheme so he was in most every respect just lucky to be there. Put him in Mond's situation and he would have flailed mightily.

He does not belong on that list, as nice of a guy as he was. He helped top 5 A&M teams tie nearly winless post-death penalty SMU squads through sheer offensive ineptitude.

Now do the guy you Faggies hate. Joe Burrow. Bet your train of thought changes.

Didn't Kellen Mond hand Joe Burrow a 7-overtime beat down in Kyle Field?

I do know one thing, JB needs a fashion critic who is not gay.

Pullig belongs by the sheer fact that he is a current active duty Marine Lieutenant Colonel.

Truly a great achievement for you guys. Not very many players at aTm can say that. He should be very proud.

They are both shitty humans... the better QB is not in doubt, Rattler by a mile.

Kind of extreme to say they’re shitty humans but they both would qualify as the top two weirdest looking QBs in the last decade

At least 8 that I can think of top of my head:

Johnny Manziel
Bucky Richardson
Reggie McNeal
Stephen McGee
Ryan Tannehill
Jerrod Johnson
Kevin Murray
Gary Kubiak

Tannehill started one season as QB for A&M. They finished the season 7–6, 4–5 in Big 12 play to finish in a tie for sixth place.

He had a career 42-21 TD-Int ratio.

He was a better receiver at A&M.

Mond: 2-1 vs LSU

Johnny Footbawwwl: 0-2 vs. LSU

Accourding to Aggy logic Mond is better.

wat?

He was a 4 year starter in a pass happy era under two pass heavy coaches so he compiled the most stats in just about every category. Nobody actually thinks he's the best A&M QB.

I think most who saw them all play would have guys like Johnny Manziel, Kevin Murray, Bucky Richardson, Ryan Tannehill, Jerrod Johnson (when healthy), Stephan McGee, and Reggie McNeal ahead of him. The really old fans would likely ad Edd Hargett and Gary Kubiak to that list as well.
