First, honors go to Missouri for being the first SEC program to win 9 games in a season (1899).
First to win 10 games in a season (includes bowl game if played).........."consensus national champions" means team won the majority of all the NCAA-recognized polls..........
#1 -- LSU!! (1908)....Tigers also first SEC program to be named national champions (same year) as recognized by NCAA Official Records Book.
#2 -- Oklahoma (1915)....named national champions by one NCAA poll service.
#3 -- Texas A&M (1919)....named national champions by two NCAA poll services.
#4 -- Alabama (1920)
#5 -- Tennessee (1938).....named consensus national champions
#6 -- Mississippi State (1940)
#7 -- Georgia (1942).....named consensus national champions
#8 -- Texas (1945)
#9 -- Kentucky (1950).....named national champions by one NCAA poll service.
#10 -- Ole Miss (1955)
#11 -- Auburn (1957).....named consensus national champions.
#12 -- Missouri (1960)....named national champions by one NCAA poll service.
#13 -- Arkansas (1964)......named consensus national champions
#14 -- South Carolina (1984)
#15 -- Florida (1991)
#16 -- Vanderbilt......has never won 10 games in its history; however, they have won 9 games three times: 1904, 1915, and 2012. They also have an outstanding winning record vs. Texas Longhorns (8-3-1).

Texas A&M has one, ONE, 10-win season in the last 25 years...

Missouri admins have no balls or they would (legitimately) claim the 1960 Natty.
Hell, if the Gumps go a game or two above .500 they claim the Natty.

Who cares?
They finished ranked #4 in 2020...
The CFP must have only had 3 teams that year.

You were #1 in both polls. You lost to Kansas by double digits. And only figs care about vacated wins.

How?
Bama fans tell me that Nick Saban founded LSU in 2001 so this can't be right. They would never lie.

We spanked you and you whined to the Big 8 for them to vacate it but the damage was done

Well, when your opponents are the Young Men's Gymnastic Club-New Orleans* I can see why they won 10 games. And still didn’t win the conference that year.

Nope. As usual, kU cheated and used an illegal player. The league disqualified kU and win was vacated. Mizzou crushed #Navy in the Orange Bowl.
Lastly, you’re a cvnt.

No need to be bitter for 150 years of futility in football. However, If you insist on measuring yourselves by the Gold Standard you will only be left wanting.

Probably because it would be 50 years before LSU had another season of 10+ wins after 1908. Prior to Saban's arrival in 2000, LSU had just five seasons of 10 wins or more:
1908
1958
1961
1987
1996
LSU has had 13 seasons of 10 wins or more since the turn of the century. One could say that Saban's arrival had a lot to do with the turn around in success.

1915 Oklahoma - Kingfisher
1919 Texas A&M - Howard Payne;
1920 Alabama - Southern Military Academy; Marion Military Institute, Birmingham-Southern
1938 Tennessee - None
1940 MSU - Southwestern Tennessee; Millsaps
1942 Georgia - Jacksonville Naval Air Station
1945 Texas - Bergstrom Field
