When does the NCAA apologize to Bruce? All he did was a BBQ.

Broke the rules that at the time were the rules. If there’s no rules, nothing separates us from animals.

When a rule has been deemed "unconstitutional", it really nullifies said rule.

Reggie was a real pioneer of justice

Probably the all time greatest game played in college football considering the stakes, the venue, all that was on the line, etc.
But I kind of feel bad for USC. Not realizing that they were just one hard right uppercut away from victory in that game.

So how do we repair the damage done to SMU in the 80s?

I think you should probably spend at least a few minutes looking into the rules that SMU broke and then hopefully try to understand the difference between that and the rule Reggie broke.

The NCAA has nothing to do with Bush getting his Heisman back

Life lessons. We teach our kids that we can work through most mistakes/wrongdoing, but if you lie then the punishment will be severe. Without integrity and trust, we have nothing.

NIL topics really do bring out the stupidity in people.

Your argument had nothing to do with the nuances of the rule infractions. Both cases would be deemed legal now through NIL.

I look at the world with burnt orange glasses, but in 2005, that season, there wasn't a better college player on the planet better than Reggie Bush. He was basically unstoppable.

nuances of rule infractions shouldn't require being stated. It's pretty easily understood.

Wrong. The NIL does not allow for direct pay-for-play. You can argue that the intent of the NIL has been bastardized and leading to an indirect pay-for-play....but that's all you can do. The SMU scandal was a direct pay-for-play.
To clarify, my argument about a rule being deemed unconstitutional has nothing to do with the SMU scandal because there has been no constitutional ruling on "pay-for-play".

They have quite the list to tend to now.
Florida gets its 1984 SEC Championship
Bama gets the wins vacated from 2007 and the 23 schollies lost in 2002,03,04.
USC gets back their 26 schollies back from 2010
SMU gets all kind of shite
Will Wade gets a show cause removed
on and on and on. A LOT of requests are coming. get ready.
