Yeah, unfortunately for Bama fans, I think this is going to be a loooong year. If Saban can lose to La Monroe and Kirby can lose to Vandy, what is ol KB gonna do against that schedule? It probably wouldn't be so bad if so many talented players hadn't of transferred away. They won't admit it, at least on this cesspool of a forum anyway, but losing Caleb Downs, was huuuuuuuuuge. They're gonna struggle. I'd say they'll lose 3 games. Which is a bad season for the Tide.

Neither inherited a program or roster even close to as talented as 2024 Bama.
This is a moronic take. Richt hadn’t accomplished anything meaningful in a decade and hadn’t had an offensive linemen or D tackle taken in the first round in years.
Bama’s roster with Saban in 2007 is laughable compared to what they are now.

Saban inherited a bad Mike Shula led program.
Kirby inherited a still-Clempsoning Georgia team. Still took him a few years to get them out of that mode.
DeBoer took his last team to the NC game in his most recent year. And he's inheriting an elite Saban-led program.
You lack perspective
