We have Clemson midweek followed by A&M on the road this weekend. I think we take a hit with 2-2 being our best outcome for the week (0-4 could be a reality) but we should be in good shape to hit 14 conference wins from here on out.
Still like us as a solid 2 seed in a winnable regional but there are some holding out reasonable hope for a back-end host spot.

We really pissed off someone at Baseball America

Shocked we didn’t get ranked again after sweeping and having a winning conference record
- State is one week removed from losing a series to 6-12 (SEC) Ole Miss
- State is 4 Q4 Losses
- State has lost 8 of its last 18 games, which includes a loss to 16-22 UCA
So I can see how it may be a while until State is ranked again.

They probably just look at conference record and not much else. If it makes you feel better, I think this weekend series is the hardest left for A&M

It’s really strange because we were ranked like #21 a couple weeks ago and have gone 7-4 since, with the only series loss being a really close one on the road at MSST

Same but opposite. BA has us 16 and PG has us 23. We are in first place (conf) by 3 games. Have swept 4 series this year, first time in B12 we’ve done that. Our bats have come alive. Pitchers getting better as season goes which is standard for Skip in how he paces them for the end of season. Still have flaws though, but in BB if you get hot at end of year it feeds itself.

Their interns only look at final scores is my guess

We are top 20 and still haven’t officially locked in a spot in Hoover.
Rough.

Tennessee should be at 2
Win in Lexington was impressive.

So impressed with what Wes Johnson is doing at UGA. I miss him at LSU
What a welcome change to the program. Once he solves our pitching issues Georgia will be a force. I never expected us to be in this position in year one but I'm enjoying the heck out of it.

We have some decent commits for next year

We’ve been underranked most of the year but needed to keep it up in conference play for people to believe it. RPI has always been right around top 10 and it’s starting to even out with rankings. Hoping the bats can get us one in college station

Our RPI is boosted by a pretty good midweek resume. A lot of wins over teams in the 50-60 range

Yeah with Clemson this week and one more game with Kennesaw state more opportunities there. Our weekend starters are just really inconsistent. If Goldstein can return to form as the Friday night guy we feel like a different team

No doubt that UK is solid but the competition you played to lead the SEC is also a big factor. Head to head goes to UT. Both teams have 4 series left. UK should be in the top 4 at the end of season. However, a lot of baseball to be played.

I don't think I would say that.
UK's SOS is higher than Tennessee and they have a series win over Alabama, which Tennessee lost.
It is April 22nd. Any team in the SEC that is 15-3 is a legit contender. No ifs ands or buts about it.

The Big 12 can't play baseball to save their lives

The B12 is simply terrible this year.
