We will see if money can buy happiness. It will take more than coaching, as is painfully obvious with Cal.

That’s a lot of $. I’m sure that program has been wildly successful and has many Nat’l Championships in the major sports

Cal problem has certainly been ability to buy top level talent. Glad Walmart ville could resurrect his dreams.

Didn’t the prince of the portal just recently get 3 McDonald’s burgers and a bunch of coveted transfers?

I remember seeing this same kind of thread a few years ago, and how’s that worked out so far?

It's not how much money you have, it's how much you are willing to spend.
If they are willing to spend so much, why do you not already have the highest paid coaching staff, the best facilities and everything else? These are all things you could have been buying all a long.
They didn't want to pay for anything that could help build the program long term, but now suddenly they are going to spend more than everyone else?

What does rich boosters matter? To back and look at the classes Coach Cal has had the last 10 years. I think his lowest ranked class at UK I’d like #5. He normally top 3 classes every year.

He is a good recruiter but a poor coach and money won’t change that…
