Of having to face the Gamecocks again. She threw the game by keeping HVL on Clark all game. Even ray Charles could see that wouldn't work.
Kim either threw the game or has become a idiot of a coach.

There were probably a dozen or more threads on the Tiger Rant alleging Mulkey was throwing the game. They all got zapped.
Bizarre to watch them intentionally not guard the greatest college basketball player of all time.

The Dirty Debutantes just had a bad game.
(So I'm told. I ain't watching women's basketball just cuz I'm tired of the powers that be investing so many resources to try and make me care about it.)

She was scared of having to play South Carolina so she threw the game?
That's a moronic statement

Then you explain why she put HVL on Clark AND left her on her all game until she knew they were beaten. Now she can say they lost to Iowa, who they destroyed last year, and not have to say the Gamecocks beat her... again.

Seems like the only plausible explanation, IMO.

Simple answer: Clark is gonna get hers regardless of who we put on her.. so let's try to take away everyone else and hope that Clark doesn't hit 9 of 16 three point shots (or whatever her stats were)..
It didn't work.. but it wouldn't have been the 1st time a coach tried this.. Sometimes it works.. sometimes it doesn't.

We'd be happy to if that was what she did. It wasn't.

Only a DUMBARSE coach sticks with a losing formula and not trying something different until it's to late.
Kim threw the game plain and simple.

Kim tried to give Hailey a meaningful role all year and it just didn’t work out. I suspect part of the plan was to let Hailey spend all her energy on defense since we don’t need her to create on offense.
Additionally, Flau’jae got herself in foul trouble even without having to guard Caitlin.

Facts didn't see any coaching from her during the game none at all.

Mulkey to Clark
"I sure am glad you leaving. I said, girl, you something else. Never seen anything like it."
That says enough.

It was pretty obvious her plan was to "let" Clark get hers, but keep her teammates in check. That didn't work.

CKM has won a State high school championship as a player. All State 3 years. Played & started on a boys' baseball team. Won a National Championship as a player. Won an Olympic Gold Medal as a player. Won 4 collegiate National Championships as a Coach at 2 different schools. Been coaching / playing for 40+ years, winning at the highest levels at each stop. Yea, she's afraid of playing someone.

That's what some people said Creighton should do with Dalton Knecht. Instead, McDermott put his All-American on Knecht, and Scheierman did a credible job. Mulkey should have put Johnson on Clark.

Can you give us some more aTm insights into a coach that won a NC last year? Maybe some Baseball coaching cretique about a coach that won a NC last year? Or some clips from a 1939 newspaper detailing the strategy for a football NC?

Hey, look, another LSU fan who doesn't use logic. Just because A&M has won exactly nothing relevant in the past eternity doesn't mean I can't see that your women's basketball team's head coach made a really bad decision and kept making that bad decision for the vast majority of a very important game that they could have won if better decisions had been made.
