That's not that shocking, considering Arkansas has two teams (Arkansas and State) and Missouri has one (Mizzou). Also, does Alaska even have non-intramural sports?

Missouri has 4 D1 basketball teams. Arkansas has 3 D1 basketball teams.

Arkansas
Arkansas State (Sun Belt)
Little Rock (Ohio Valley Conference)
Central Arkansas (ASUN)
UAPB (SWAC)

Little Rock had the best season. Won their league title (shared at 14-4) but lost in their conference tournament.

I find it shocking that Arkansas does not have one school that equates to UAB or Samford University.
