Helluva play and throw by State's pitcher. What a crazy quick release on that throw.

I guess LSU and Florida sucked last year because they gave up 24 and 18 runs respectively in the cWF finals

They were actually playing good teams then. That's the difference.

You guys have Florida, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, & Tennessee coming up next 4 series. MSU is not even close to those teams quality and your pitching is getting destroyed by them.

And we led the entire nation in strikeouts coming into today

I’d kill for a walk off win
Wouldn't need one had they taken Stevens out when it was obvious he showed nothing, i.e., 3-0 instead of 5-0.

LSU has a lot of young pitchers and this is the first time many have pitched in a pressure situation in a hostile environment on the road in the SEC.

I'll wait a few weeks before I melt .

Nonconference play ain't SEC play. It's a completely different animal.

Not sure we've ever had this many quality arms and this much depth.

3 legit aces. More veteran leadership. If bats just improve a little, this has the potential to be better than 21.

I like our chances tomorrow if Jurrangelo can have a great game and go 6-7 innings. Both teams have depleted bullpen but our Sunday starter is way better than Saturday starter

This weekend Arkansas has beaten a team that would be 6 or worst in the Southland conference. Not much bragging right now for “SEC” play

I know mizzou isn’t brag material. But our pitching is great. See beaver game. And pitching isn’t what lost us the okie light game. You’ll see at the end of this month

I don’t count mizzou as sec play in baseball. Our competition stiffens up next weekend at auburn. But I think people are going to struggle with offense this year vs Arkansas.

I’m, we have Hurd that if in can go 6-7 then still have:
Coleman
Ack
Ulloa
Guidry…

Yours maybe depleted….

Bama up 6-0 on BaseVols now. Probably still need double digits to win, though

Heard it had no sticker

Josh Callaway
@JoshMCallaway
Wow, TCU's Peyton Chatagnier draws a walk - but Skip Johnson came storming out of the dugout wanting the umpires to check the bat he used

After discussion, umpires ruled the bat was illegal - and the hitter was out

Heads up stuff by OU's dug out
