don't understand why they'd let him out a back or side door in the first place. I don't know that bar but a lot of times those exits either go through employee areas or exit in less than optimal areas.

It’s a corner bar. There is no back door directly outside. I’m not sure if it’s the same setup now, but there used to be an indoor corridor that connects wannabe’s and what used to be Tequila Cowboys(I think it’s Aldeans now) and opens out through a door on 3rd avenue south.

It’s kind of a weird setup I remember entering to go to those bars before and also being able to exit that way as well. It’s like a service hallway that connects all three places.

I guess the bouncer could’ve removed him through the back of the bar and then out the hallway to 3rd avenue. If he didn’t take him all the way outside then he could’ve wandered into wannabe’s or Aldeans.

It makes sense, because the parking lot you see him fall in is on the corner of 3rd ave N and Church Street. Meaning he exited on 3rd avenue South and then somehow managed to cross Broadway and then walked North on 3rd Ave.

^It would go without saying that you'd lose your ABC card. The bar might lose more but at min. server/bartender are in trouble depending on the tox.

If they were on a guys trip, chances are they had been bar hopping for hours. And knowing their age range, there’s a good chance one or two were buying the drinks and handing them out.

Here’s a picture of the exit/entrance to the service hallway and then a picture looking north to the intersection of Broadway and further down the parking lot off the intersection of 3rd N and Church St where he fell in the parking lot.

Also, according to TikTok, that bar is notorious for people getting roofied.

Happened to me at a bar in Nashville. Had one beer and woke up the next day with no memory. I was extremely disoriented and agitated by whatever I was given. Never understood the why- I wasn’t robbed or assaulted. It happened though. Last thing I recall was going to pee and setting that first beer on the bathroom sink.

Heart goes out to all involved- just a terrible deal.

Damn, I'm assuming you were with friends? If so, what did they say about the time in which you have no memory? They likely saved you from an ill fate, thankfully.

And the direction he’s walking there leads him directly down Gay Street to the river to this. Did you notice how he kept leaning and banging into the building in that clip? Well the concrete barrier here is a little over waist high and for someone his height would be very easy to tumble over. This picture doesn’t really capture how far the fall is and how steep that bluff is leading into the river.

This guy follows the path he took towards the river that I’ve been describing. Notice how low the railing is and how far the drop is down to the river. Also, the river was much higher the night he disappeared.

Following the path he walked

None of this “frat brothers” were his friends. Hell they are even refusing to answer questions about that night and refusing to talk to the news. When the news station reached out to them for comment, they said, “they not ready to comment yet”. Or is it more like they have been told not to talk about it and the fear brothers took an oath with each other not to say anything?

How does he get kicked out and non of his friends, just 1 of them don’t even follow him outside to just talk to him? They all kept partying and when the bar closed they then went and looked for him. I sure wouldn’t want these guys to have my back.

It was all his brothers’ faults….Anti-Greek rhetoric on here is always so amusing.

I haven’t seen a lot of anti-Greek anything, just these ones. Most Greeks would have helped this kid. A lot of strangers would have helped this kid. None did.
Like I’ve posted, I’ve been in this kind of shape a few times. If I was with friends or co-workers, the absolute minimum one ever did was throw me in a cab.
I’ve been by myself in almost as bad of shape and had a complete stranger help get me home. I’ve done the same for a stranger as well. I’ve also seen/know several people alone in similar condition get stopped by police and sent to the hospital(no citation).
What I have never seen is a well-dressed young white kid alone on the sidewalk in that condition with dozens of witnesses who did nothing to help.

At current water temps in the Cumberland, assuming no underwater entanglement, it takes 10-14 days for a body to float. It’s been 7 days.

At Bonnaroo few years ago a drunk college kid was killed when he tried to walk across I-24, a mile from the closest exit, in the wee hours of Friday night and was hit by an 18 wheeler. He was so drunk that he literally ran into the side of the 18 wheeler and then was hit by a car. The first thing I thought of was, where on earth were this kid's friends? That's quite a hike from the camping area, and no one else was around.

I knew a guy who tried to cross a freeway during Saint Louis Marti Gras, Katrina year when it was absolutely packed.
He had just gotten back from Iraq though and the cop gave him a free 40 minute ride home.

Being blackout and alone is dangerous. Help these people if you see them.

You can’t even count how many ppl up north end up drunk alone and freezing to death.

Sad for his family. They know he’s dead at this point and that they’re just looking for a body that they may never find.

it seems like some bars just like to roofie guys just for fun for whatever reason. I know of more than one guy who had that exact same thing happen to them in Lafayette of all places. Had one or two drinks then completely blacked out and had to have someone bring them home. It’s crazy but I kind of feel like there’s a good chance that’s what happened here but sadly nobody helped him for whatever reason
