Correct, except Kelly saved a program from going into decline. Has a lot more experience too. LSU is trending upward and it’s pretty obvious. Bama on the other hand, considering they were 2 miracles away from 2 and possibly 3 losses, and certainly from getting a playoff berth, it doesn’t look good. The decline is happening.
Bama fans cannot fathom this and I’m genuinely worried. I want to stay interested in the Bama game. I am in your corner.

DeBoer could post the exact same 20-7 record at Alabama as Kelly has at LSU and I'd consider that pretty bad.
Why?
Kelly took over a team that went 11-12 the two years prior to his hire.
DeBoer took over a team that went 23-4.

Let’s see if I can help. One coach got to take over a juggernaut that was coming off a SEC championship and a playoff appearance. The other took over a program coming off two embarrassing seasons with 39 scholarship players. Any chance you’re smart enough to see a distinction?? Yeah, probably not.
