Will Reichard getting drafted means that Nick Saban saw at least one of his Alabama players taken at every position, including all three specialists (K, P and LS).

So now Saban has had a #1 pick and a Mr. Irrelevant

I don't believe a Alabama player was drafted after Saban's first year.

Robinson was in the 07 Draft, which would have followed the 06 season.

This is Saban's first Mr. Irrelevant at Alabama.

Coach Saban went out in style. Though not all his recruits have graduated yet. Deboer will get credit for the remainder.

I've been assured by the Swamptards that every single one of them is a bust.

Crazy that WRs are now getting QB level contracts from 5-6 years ago. Good for Waddle though.

Record contracts stay records for about 5 minutes these days. It'll be interesting to see what Tua ends up with.

I wonder if Julio is going to officially retire. It'll be the end of an era seeing Saban's first truly elite recruit at Bama hang it up in the same year he retired. I'd like to see Julio give it one more shot just from a stats perspective. He's one average season away from cracking the top 10 all time receiving yards...currently sits at #16. I honestly thought he'd make the top 10 easily not long ago, but he really hit a wall after leaving Atlanta. Kinda weird...just never really got the opportunities for whatever reason. Obviously he's past his prime, but I thought he'd have made a bigger impact as a WR3 with Philly.

Also, Kareem Jackson is still active, but a FA...kinda funny that the guy Saban didn't want to leave early might end up having the longest professional career of all of the Saban guys.

Julio is still a great receiver but his body cannot sustain him for a full season.
Every time he had a good game he would end up getting injured with minor or major nicks.
I too would like to see him give it another go this year.
