We can only imagine what LSU football would have been, had he retired from there a few weeks ago. He had a hell of a staff and all the talent in the nation right there.

Ya know Saban would be the GOAT just off his own success, but the amount of coaches that were either developed by him or rehabilitated under him is insane. His presence will be felt on sidelines for a long time to come. I just hope CFB doesn’t continue down its current path.

I’m glad he left before CFB evolves further. It cannot be fun anymore to coach these privileged brats with their hand out all the time

There's a story that back then one of Kirby's jobs was to cut up the film they would watch with the players during film study. One day the players played a prank on him and fricked with the film. Saban came into the meeting and lit Kirby's arse up because they had to wait. He couldn't stand it if one second of his day was wasted.
