The Quest For Zero: Missouri's Final Two Games

The top has come into focus with the most complete team in Tennessee gaining an inside track to an SEC title (I'm not crying you're crying) but there are various paths for as much as 5 teams to tie for the SEC title. It's actually been a very good year for SEC basketball
But at the bottom, however, we have finality. Missouri will be alone as the worst basketball team in the SEC. Vanderbilt has three wins and there are only two games remaining. Even my Alabama math can figure that one out.
So now Missouri turns to its next Everest: avoiding the goose egg. There are two teams the tigers have left to face and they are also tigers.
Auburn AT HOME: There was a time this season where you could catch Auburn away from Neville and they would be sleeping. That time seems to be over. Jaylin Williams was hurt against Kentucky is not 100% and Auburn is still charging along. This team is peaking right before the conference tournament they would have to fall asleep at the wheel for Mizzou to have a chance.
LSU ON THE ROAD: The last real chance. This LSU team is not bad by any stretch but they aren't necessarily good either. It's been a year of improvement for LSU. They are 8-8 in the league and sometimes look like a solid team only to follow that up with mind numbing ineptitude. If a healthier Mizzou can hit their shots I could maybe see it.

This is the one we’ll frick up. The Wade lovers are lurking in the shadows right now and are gearing up to kick open the door to the Rant like a SWAT team if LSU loses this one. It just seems too perfect to not happen.

I'd say it's a lock. What if Mizzou then won the conference tournament? The Tigers could become the first P5 school to ever get an autobid and then slot in as a 16 seed.

It would be peak LSU Basketball to take the L but i feel like this team is pretty locked in especially at home and wants an NIT bid

Mizzou puzzles me. They are supposed to be a basketball school.
