Did y'all know Caitlin Clark also owned this record over Pistol Pete?

Pete got his in 3 years (freshmen weren't eligible) and there was no 3 point line. He averaged 44 points a game.
So yes, not to diminish her accomplishment, she has more points - but Pete had to do it at a much faster clip and with a lot more made shots.

Serious question. How much does the smaller ball matter. I think it helps the women to some extent but I don’t know the specifics.
