We don't storm the field of play even when we win. Just doesn't happen. Only trash fanbases do that.

might wanna read the previous page (pg3) where one of your bama friends humorously linked an article that clearly states bama has indeed rushed the field in the past.
Love watching these self owns by gumps..continue to talk about "trash fanbases" including your own, more often please - delightful entertainment
Alabama Fans Claim They Have Never Stormed the Field, We Looked into It

Alabama stormed the field twice in the 50's and attempted to in 1990.

So this is it?
Imagine still claiming that 1990 was an attempted field storming. Here is another one to put in your book. If you are going to count 1990 you might as well count 1985. There were a handful of drunk students who tried to run on the field after the kick that year. They got their asses handed to them by the Birmingham PD just like 1990. I was there for that one and it was ugly for the handful that jumped the fence or got caught trying to jump it.
You rename lots of things in the course of a thread. But never will 1985 nor 1990 be a storming of the field. Ever.
I don’t know what happened in the 1950’s beyond what you provided. No one here does.
If fans ran onto the field in 1956 or 1958, did the term “field storming” even exist then?
I don’t think you are stupid. But you claiming Alabama stormed the field in 1990 is beyond stupid. And they didn’t try, because this forum has agreed the police can not stop 20,000 fans from rushing the field. And the 50-60 cops that night didn’t either.

They’re adorable when they don’t get treated like baby princesses

Alabama fans are lying about never storming the field.
Deal with it.
Bitch.

But is it true Alabama fans have never hopped the fence to celebrate on the field or is it a boastful revisionist history?
In the modern era, yes.
For the seventh time.
What did field storming look like in the 1950s?
Can you dig up some pictures? I know you can:
If you want to go back to a 1956 or 1960 newspaper article, you are doing some serious research. Much more than me. I just take what I see on the internet as the answer on things like this. But you did some digging. At least you dropped 1990.
Speaking of which, how is your sports journalism career going?

Security has lined up around the court and around the football field (especially in the end zones for years. Like decades. Saturday was not a first time thing. Despite Bama never rushing a court or a field the security is still done. I think it may even be an SEC policy that everybody does this. Though all others don't follow it.
You won't ever have to worry about Bama storming anything. We take great pride in not doing this. Have since the beginning. Storming is for losers who can't believe their team just won. We believe we SHOULD win and therefore no reason to do this. If Bama was ever going to storm a field it would have been after the 2008 Iron Bowl when the streak to Auburn ended...and it didn't happen. All you need to know. Didn't happen when Bama took down number one Ms State in 14, didn't happen after Rocky Block, didn't happen after taking down Fournette and number 2 ranked LSU, didn't happen after the massive comeback against AU in 14. You follow me. You see it as much as we do.

I’m old.. I was in attendance in 1990 when Bama beat Auburn.
That was in no way a field storming. Probably less than 200 fans entered the field of play.
Lots of students did go down to the fence in the end zone and lots of players celebrated with them at the fence.
I’ve been attending Bama games since the early 70’s and I’ve never seen a true “field storming”.
1985 was close when Tiffin made the kick.. but even that was mild in comparison to the field storming we’ve all witnessed at other places

It's interesting to see these hypocritical Alabama fans attempt to explain their way around Alabama field stormings.

Sounds like, as usual, Alabama fans take great pride in a lie.

This is ironic coming from Auburn fans, the queens of court/field storming.
