Where'd you grow up? I remember a number of them.

Hell, Auburn has one every year and it's honestly probably a bigger event around town than anything non-football.

My mind is still blown that Mizzou considers rodeos and horse riding Western.

So you never went to the rodeo that the Missippippi State Penitenary used to have every year? Rodeo is definitely southern.

Angola also puts on an outstanding rodeo.

The south has much more of a mountain hippie vibe. Moonshine, mushrooms and jam band stuff.

I’m not surprised and am surprised to see Tarleton on there.

The Texas Aggie Rodeo Team will host an intercollegiate rodeo March 8-9.

Wait till the other teams see what the bareback riding event looks like in College Station

Tarleton is in Stephenville, TX and several PRCA guys live there.

Jim "The Razor" Sharp, who became the first cowboy to ride all 10 bulls at the National Finals Rodeo, calls Stephenville home. His college roommate was nine-time world champ Ty Murray, who is probably Stephenville's most famous cowboy.

Funny story, back in college, one of my friends was dating a pro bull rider guy, and he went to Harry’s with us. He was telling me a story about how he was sponsored by Crown Royal, and they gave him a corporate credit card. Well, he ran up a bar tab with his boys the first week, they took it away. I was like, these cowboys are just like us.

You have a weird fascination with posting this multiple times. Show us where the Aggie touched you. It was your pussy, wasn’t it?

Get your school to stop doing the ghey.

But I had no idea there even was an intercollegiate rodeo, and I graduated in the Ag college. Good to know.

Honest question, why is A&M sponsoring/leading an event that takes place at community colleges, McNeese, etc.? No shade, but where are the LSU schools, Baylor, UNT, and where is Blinn?

They don’t have rodeo teams. For example, only a handful of SEC schools participate in equestrian. We started competing in the rodeo very recently I think. But I do know strong equestrian schools like Auburn, State, SC, Georgia will probably join down the line if the school decides to support it. Does LSU have an equestrian team?
