Not our fault that most of the SEC (besides Bama, Mizzou, Ole Miss, and Georgia) suck.

I disagree.

UGA won the eastern division on 2011. We beat nobody that year. No one.

Half of the conference is below average. And there will be consistent seasons in college football where that is true (not just respective to the SEC but respective to P5 conferences).

I'm not talking about 10-15 years ago. I'm talking about today.

Using the 247 talent composite every SEC team other than Vandy is ranked 32nd or better in the nation in team talent.

While that isn't the ONLY factor in how good a team is, it's a big factor. It means that even when teams like Arkansas have a good game and play to their talent, they're a tough out that you can't sleep walk through.

You can generally sleep walk through Vandy with a Texas talent level on your team.

The difference is there was only one team other than OU and Texas in the top 32 of talent last year (TCU). The next closest was at 40 (TT).

Talent matters.

we've been told for years we'd be a .500 team in the sec because the sec is so superior...now evidently the sec sucks.
The more you know

your reading comprehension skills suck. Having the easiest schedule doesn't mean that the SEC sucks. It means you were given the most favorable schedule.

We have joined the SEC, we are playing the 3 teams that hate us the most away from home and we are the only team in the country playing the programs that have won the last 3 national titles but, somehow, we have an easy schedule.

While your premise has some merit... the Big XII compensates somewhat by having some exceptional skill players.

If you haven't done so, you might want to check where the two Super Bowl QBs played College Ball at.

Michigan, Oklahoma, UGA, and A&M is not exactly easy.

And only 1 of those is a home game. However, facts mean nothing to these people.

Michigan has a new coach and lost most of their starters. Won’t be even close to the same team as they were last season.

If your standard of an above average football team is losing with dignity, I again will disagree with you.

How do you quantify losing with dignity (a tough out) anyway?
Losing by 7 to BYU?
Losing by 3 to Liberty?
7 point loss to San Jose St?

This list is just another example of
ESPN propping up their favorite muse Utx. They realize that everyone has now seen how easy of a conference schedule Utx was gifted by Sankey (under direction of ESPN, no doubt). So, now they make up some bullsheet ranking of Utx schedule difficulty.

Michigan isn't in the SEC and Oklahoma and A&M are their permanents. Don't count

Just out of curiosity and sake of argument, let's say Tenner, Flarda, Cowbell and aggy end up being better than everyone expects, AND we manage to beat Georgia? What will the narrative be among the highly educated braintrust on the rant?

Further proof that ESPN is full of shat and has a permanent hard on for Utx. Their ranking on that list is laughable.

Texas can’t help it that aggy being on their schedule, knocked them down from the #1 hardest to the 10th.

Michigan will be a much easier game now in
24 because they just lost their coach and most of their starters. Same with aggie probably.

Lets look at how easy LSU's schedule is.

USC (Neutral Site)
Nicholls Colonels (home)
Soth Carolina (away)
UCLA (home)
South Alabama (home)
bye(Ole Miss doesn't have a bye)
Ole Miss (home)
Arkansas (away)
A&M (Away)
bye
Alabama (home)
Florida (away)
Vandy (home)
OU(home)

Your toughest stretch has 2 bye weeks and while you have a bye to prep, Ole Miss has a game. Lets also not forget LSU's "second toughest game" is against a team with a brand new coach.

A&M as your fourth toughest game is not a great argument. You're talking about a 7 win team from last season.

For comparison, UGA plays Texas (12 wins), Alabama (12 wins), Ole Miss (11 wins), Clemson (9 wins), Tennessee (9 wins) before we hit our 7 win teams (Georgia TEch and Kentucky). Effectively Texas's 4th toughest game is equivalent to UGA's 6th.

It's not the end of the world, but you got a favorable draw. It's about as easy a schedule as you'll see going forward.
