There has to be some kind of contract that both parties can accept. Will there be trades? Would each sport have their own union and rules, or could they join the football union? Also does Title 9 apply to unions?

I might be getting very close to hanging it up on college football when this occurs. I mean, I'm fine with athletes being to make a little money because the NCAA shite heads were in a bloodlust to take down certain players/programs. I'm just not sure the end product of something like this is going to be anything close to the original college game. I blame the NCAA members' greed and now the athlete's greed.

If I'm going to watch a field full of mercenaries I might as well just watch the superior product on Sundays. It's gotten to the point of ridiculousness.

Trades, drafts, where does it end? College football has become more of a cesspool than it previously was during the bagman years!

Let the NFL start their own minor league where the 4/5 star types can go if they wish. Then let's get back to student athletes playing college football for a scholarship and a free education. I'd rather watch less talented kids who want to be there play for the schools otherwise I'd just watch the NFL.

At this point I'm starting to prefer just taking my little boys to watch high school games.

College football needs Nick Saban to become Supreme Emperor of a 50-60 member power league.

Of course, he is secretly all-in on Bama ruling the league.

As long as the US Department of Education calls them students, Title IX will govern them.
