This team was close. Lost all their games by 7 or less. Have to wonder how they would have finished if they pulled the LSU game out.

Even in his down year Saban absolutely owned the Vols.

The last game that I ever attended with my FIL was the La Monroe game. Said that he just couldn’t walk the stairs anymore.

The wife and her whole family graduated from FSU…. I had to listen to that shite for years until we met again and took revenge. Bobby’s last year I believe….

We had a 4th and 4 to beat LSU and we gave up a TD. We stop them there and I honestly think we would have won the West.

The 2007 Arkansas game was one of the best experiences of my rather unfortunate undergraduate tenure w/r/t football.

The first play from scrimmage of the Nick Saban era at Alabama was a 50+ yard TD run by Terry Grant.

Thanks for posting this. SOmetimes it's hard to remember just how long Saban's tenure was with Bama. The original iPhon had just released in June before the season began. W. was still president. Crazy how fast that time went by.

Found my Western Carolina student ticket the other day with Saban on it. One to hold onto.
