This is what happens when you hire a flash in the pan PNW coach….

It's weird, isn't it? One hired from Seattle but quit Auburn before coaching a game. Now, one hired by Seattle and quit Bama before coaching a game.

He hasn’t coach a game yet.

What Auburn has been doing the last 4 years I wouldn’t call football.

This thread makes no sense. What are you trying to say OP? I'd say this shows Deboer/Grubb are good coaches. Deboer has such a great eye for talent and had such a good OC that Grubb was promoted into the NFL. Which means Deboer will probably go hire another great OC to take his place to run the same type of offense....Opposing fans were trying to say Deboer/Grubb was a failure. So which is it?

Yeah, they aren’t gonna get the reaction they are hoping for with this news.

I'm just guessing here, but part of this decision seems to me Grubb's family just didn't want to move so Grubb stayed in Seattle to keep some peace. If the OL coach goes, it will be because Grubb hand picked him and is now wanting him to go with him to run his offense.....It also seems coaches want to avoid this NIL BS as much as possible. NFL is an easier gig now days.

Huff played college in the PNW and coached there for years. I would be surprised if Seattle wanted him if he didn’t go.
I don’t think Seattle’s new OC makes that decision though.

Nah, I think he knew that there was very little chance of ever not winning the championship at Alabama, knowing how far superior he and coach DeBoer were going to be, and decided he wanted the challenge with the Seahawks. Plus, who doesn’t like constant rain?

DeBoer is a DeSaster
