What will a school do when the NCAA rules a student-athlete ineligible to play in a NCAA sanctioned sport?
Do you think the CFP committee is going to make any CFP worthy team ineligible and sit at home, because after the Michigan stuff last year, I don't see that ever happening.

You must have been a GA player. I won't say UGA because y'all don't even qualify as a university.

That is the whole point, Einstein. You are 23 percentage points behind the closet school.
Right now if they had a 60% rule before you can field a team. One team on the graph would be disqualified. ONE TEAM...the GA Dawgs.

These hired guns that jump from team to team for more money don't give a shite about their education, so why should I?
Not college football anymore, it's a poorly run USFL.

Matters not. College football is no longer about college and graduation rates...it's a paid minor league for the NFL. We might as well accept it.

Bill Gates dropped out as did Steve Jobs. They were one and dones. Now I wouldn't take their advice on lots of things just as I wouldn't an athlete but not graduating sure didn't hurt them.

You do realize these are rates of student athletes that enrolled in 2016 right?
It is a well known fact that the NCAA does not report the prior year's graduation rate with these report because they use an 8 year time frame per class, so they are just now releasing the 2016 class (2016-2023)
Look at the graph posted by Jose Smith, in small writing under the title (Latest release of data 2022-23 for the 8 year graduation Cohort of 2016) If an athlete flunks out it is counted against the university. If a student transfers it does not.
So these are kids that were recruited by Mark Richt.

Seriously, what kind of a stupid jackass spends 7 years in college, and gets no degree? Then washes out of the league in less than a full season.

The NCAA allows a student to go back to school to get a degree and it counts as "graduated". So if a student is in school for 3 years, leaves for the NFL but gets a degree within the 8 year time frame, it counts toward that year's cohort.

That sawed-off drunk isn't going back to college. He'll be in rehab within a year.
