Thornton has some connection with this kids high school coach but I cant remember the story. I remember Pink also mentioning this fella months ago and saying his film looked really good.
I can see at 260 pounds why he is not ranked higher. Which shouldnt matter his frame sure looks like he could carry a lot more good weight.

That would be awesome Jonesy, two tackles this early, yowsir.
On Tai Buster, I knew I remembered it somewhere, it was on JLee, Aldridge played college ball with Tai's coach.
His film looks good, he reaches the second level pretty well, Im guessing thats why they like him for the inside at the next level.
I see Husan Longstreet is in Auburn with his folks for the entire weekend. He heads back to A&M and makes his decision in a couple of weeks, we will know where we stand soon.

I know this is the recruiting thread but why haven't we heard anything about scrimmages? Also what's the timetable for Carde Smith's commitment?

I think yesterday was the first day for a possible scrimmage. Not sure it happened or not. Was at baseball all day yesterday so I will see what I can find out. We are at 6 practices and install on both sides of the ball and technique drills have been the major focus so far this spring.

I asked around this is what I was told.
It’s Thorne and it’s not even close.
OL is looking good.
DL is not looking good.
Spring Camden Brown is back. Lewis is the most consistent WR so far.
We have 3 really good linebackers.
McLeod is good in speed rush.
DBs are physical.

Things look good for Henderson and will be a battle for Dear. The big kid out of Georgia is also on the board for the coaches.
That’s one I like about this staff they don’t reach for players. They stick to their board. Obviously the board can change over spring camps, 7v7 season, and during senior seasons for players but pretty much who they identify early will remain on their board and will continue to recruit regardless if they are committed somewhere else.

All these points were shared on On3 the other day so it's consistent.
Thorne obviously is the most comfortable and making the better passes and decisions, as he should considering his experience.
