The Alabama Tampering Tide.
That has a nice ring to it. I hope we call every starter that’s worth a shite that we could make a spot for.

It's just time to end the NCAA at this point. This will be a nonstop charade.
I agree. You can't have the Wild West without slinging bullets.

Is it considered tampering to contact someone associated with the player and not directly contacting the player (in this case contacting a family member)?
It's obviously tampering either way, but I'm asking because I'm not sure what the rules say about this and if this is a loophole that coaches use. Who are coaches prevented from talking to other than the player himself? I'm not sure

Item 1: A twitter account called "BlueBloodBias". Yeah, that's a reliable source for sure.
Item 2: As Iowa just demonstrated with a Bama starting OL they bought, it's a Level 3 violation - meaning if you aren't contacting players at positions of need regardless of their portal status, you aren't serious about winning.

It was the part where the player gleefully admitted that the contact had been happening all season and stated that was the reason he committed to them that pissed us off.

We just don’t care.
Enjoy.

The NCAA isn’t going away any time soon. It’s gonna take a lot of lawsuits and a lot of schools. UT, on the other hand, will get slammed. The NCAA still has enough clout to punish them

I beg to differ. Didn't the NCAA lose the original NIL lawsuit to O'Bannon et al?

LOL…does this guy even make it to week 1?
Perhaps REC dropped a dime on Debear because they are recognizing their mistake just 3 weeks in. LOL
Force him out for cause. No buyout.
Wouldn’t put it past them.

That didn’t take long. Bamas new coach seems to think the rules are different for him and Bama
Given SEC history, it is a reasonable assumption

It is when Alabama is concerned.

When exactly did DeBoer violate the dead period?
