The fact this even got out shows how much power has shifted already. Wouldn’t have heard a peep if Saban was still coach.

The power has definitely shifted. Let’s just hope it shifts with the refs too.

Of course Deboer contacted the family.

Many on Deboer's new staff are coaches he knew from previous gigs.

Wouldn't be surprised if he still had the kids number on his phone from his Fresno days..

Fewest Penalty Yards Per Game Ranking in FBS Last Three Years:

2021: UGA #20, Bama #114
2022: UGA #39, Bama #123
2023: UGA #30, Bama #50

Yes, one of the few things I agree with you on; I hope it shifts as well…

It was a direct quote he gave a 247 reporter. They don't just make shite up for clicks. Either he was lying then or he's lying now.

They took a quote from an article from The Athletic that essentially said "We were contacted by three schools but we were only interested in Washington and Alabama (if he transferred)." The idiot on twitter took that to mean that Washington and Alabama were two of the three schools. The article's author and the kids dad both said Alabama was NOT one of the three schools that reached out.

yeah, thought this one was wrapped up last nite...
getting caught up now.. but essentially :

the dad back tracked his claim.

journalisn is dead.

georgia players/recruits are saints.

saban taught deboer how to cheat properly.

finger pointing, he/she said nonsense..

and some bama fan(forgot who) wants to know how "cute" the QB prospect is... he did add "no homo" so all is good there i reckon..

Deboer didn’t know he had to arrange for someone pay the tax before getting the old Bama “nothing to see here” treatment.

The c/p below is from The Athletic. Les is the qb’s dad. When he says “We had three for sure……Bama is the only one we were interested in”. How does one interpret that any other way except that they were contacted by Bama?

From The Athletic: Thanks to some family in the coaching community, Les has relationships with college staffs across the country. Even though Noah never entered the transfer portal, programs reached out through back channels.

“We had three for sure,” Les said. “Alabama is the only one we were really interested in outside of Arizona and staying and obviously Washington. The boys were like, ‘I don’t know if we could go to Washington.’” There was a connection to Alabama. DeBoer, while the head coach at Fresno State, was one of the only coaches to offer Noah a scholarship.

The thought of playing in that offense — and doing so at Alabama — appealed to Les as an alternative in case things didn’t work out at Arizona. But Les recognized it wasn’t his decision to make. He was only there to guide.
