What is that even supposed to mean? And I'm sorry, if one mediocre season with slight difficulties brings Muss to the point of wanting to jump ship, then he isn't the man and coach we all thought he was anyway.

Many pay board people with program connections says this has legs.
Reasoning? People who pay the players are not happy with how this season is going. Throw in the dramatics, it shows bad on Muss’ ability to manage his team.
Confirmed by Trey Biddy, Muss has been told the NIL pool next year will not be as large. They don’t want to pay top dollar for bad results.
It’s a booster/Muss problem.

If Muss is leaving because of NIL then beard won't be coming for the same reason.

There are definitely some options. I’d prefer Muss stays, finishes what he started. It’s not going to end up being a good season and we all know that now. He is one of the best, IMO, that the program has had just behind Eddie. Nolan obviously is #1.
BUT if he does leave, new blood brings new money…Beard would probably be an option and I would agree with you the Strong arse Offer is an option as well.

I honestly think Madam Hunt runs the bball program far more than Hunter does.
Also sounds like Hunter has created 9me heaping pile of shite of a culture at the FB and bball programs.

I don't blame them for putting some heat on Muss.
You pay all these players and they are 10-10?

Beard is a better coach than Muss and he doesn't have that intense personality that can rub people the wrong way.
If Muss is having issues with the money people then he won't last long.

He would if the pressure is high enough.
He won't get fired but he is suffering burnout like Lou Holtz did who quit and took a job at a less than desirable program.
