Go to the bank and ask for $12 million dollars, and then tell them you plan on giving it to a college kid, with no intention of ever collecting it back. Let me know how that goes for you

They aren't borrowing from a literal bank, it's more of a robbing Peter to pay Paul situation if I understand correctly.

It’s more like big tobacco settlement money that’s funding it.

Heard this yesterday….

You heard incorrectly. The NIL monies are part of a collective. The collective takes donations from large donors to minimum donors that give $100 month. Nothing is borrowed. Our collective is run by Walker Jones. Walker was with Under Armour for a number of years and is familiar with the sports terrain and money. HOpe that helps.

it has been reported that our collective has 8000ish members / at 1k a person that is 8mm....last year rumor was we had 13mm in NIL monies....so only takes a few heavy hitters to turn that 8mm into 13mm plus

Do tell.... who is Peter and who is Paul in this situation?
Who is the lender, what collateral is being used?

Was it a blood oath?

There's enough money coming out Clarksdale and Oxford lawfirms to support 50% of the NIL needs. Thank you big tobacco.
