If I could buy tickets for a game Friday night or Saturday morning I'd drive 3 hrs 1 way for several games a year. But I'm old n cranky and not buying secondary marked up tickets. My family of 4 will just roll up to Tarleton if the weather is pretty

10k has a lot of potential for a bunch of empty seats. Knowing A&M we’ll probably build a 15k capacity stadium and still only bring in 8k per game
Right now we can have around 3-4k and fill all the seats. That’s tiny. And the ultimately limits our ability to sell season tickets (all sold this year, I believe).
The location of the ballpark greatly limits our ability to build a 15k stadium. I think the goal should be around 8-9k in actual seats with a bunch of area to hang out to flex up to 12k. Get as many seats in the INF/fair territory and have fun hang out spots in the OF.

I agree 100%. Those SRO areas for around 3,000 - 3,500 would be an awesome addition if done right.

This team is special. I saw it in San Marcos. I don't want to get ahead of my skis, but this is the best A&M baseball team I've ever seen in all phases. Schloss will get anything he wants in expansion ideas after this year.

There’s a new #1, best team in College Baseball resides in College Station

I believe it. This team can mash the ball with the best of them. Good test coming next week at Bama. They have been impressive at home

I thought Weiner was the key to A&M's season. I will be surprised if we can hold on to him after next year at the latest. Dude can really, really coach pitchers and somebody is going to give him a chance.

Incoming series loss to Bama now that we’re #1 lol

I don’t see him leaving for anything less than HC spot and idk if he gets a good HC role by the end of next year

HC - not this year but next

I think he'll have the luxury of waiting for a decent HC and not just Sam or something similar.

Funny enough I spoke with a friend that knows Max Weiner, from his time with the Mariners. He told me months ago that A&M got the steal of the century with that hire. I didn't believe him then, but I'm beginning to believe now. The turnaround in the pitchers is hard to deny
Cortez is coming into his own.

Weiner will get chances at a role as an MLB pitching coach or director of pitching in a front office if he keeps this up for a few years

The first two dingers that Jace and Monty hit were mammoth.
