frick that. Leave the domination to Bama. Saban may be gone but we will always have 2008-2023. While it will never be that way again, I am pretty excited about CKD and the staff he is assembling. It may take him a year or so but I believe good times lie ahead for the Crimson Tide. RTR!

yep. And look back at history. Who always rises when the Gumps fall?

Vols.

Who always rises when the Vols fall?

Gumps.

It's our turn bay-bee.

Sit down, Gumps. It's time to take your medicine.

Bryant was legendary but never touched Saban's consistency

Bryant won 6 titles in a 19 year span.

Won more games in the 70’s than any program in a decade in history at that point..

Won the SEC 8 times in 10 years..

Yeah, he was inconsistent

Saban outperformed him, I’m sure that you agree but continue to argue bc that is what dumbasses do.

I don’t see Bama completely collapsing. They will likely have a “down” year or two while the new coach rebuilds but that’s about it.

I see Bama “rising” much faster than Washington does at any rate.

Saban won 6 titles in a 13 year period.. so yes he outperformed him under a different system.

But had Bryant coached in the playoff era.. his 61,62,63,64,65,66,71,72,73,74,75,77,78 and 79 teams would have all been in the playoffs.

So it’s pretty close!

The undeniable fact is that they both dominated the SEC at Alabama

I don't think Bama will rise as high as Saban consistently had the program. I think they will have seasons where they will be very good. It will be interesting to see where Bama stands after Freeze has been at Auburn 3-4 seasons. Auburn will likely continue to recruit in the top 10 and their pockets are deeper than Bama's when it comes to money dedicated to football.

Bama has been blessed with have not one but two GOAT coaches in y’all’s program and while it’s not impossible to reproduce those teams it will be very very difficult.

Everyone’s going to pile on for a while because for the first time in almost 20 years y’all are shown to actually be “human” once more.

Good luck in 2024

Bama board saying 2024 is 1 loss team, 2 at most.

No telling.. but I will say that if I had to bet and the only options for the 2024 season were..

Bama makes the CFP
Or
Bama falls out of the Top 25

I would take , out of the top 25.

I'm amused at how y'all think the past three years were a living hell. This dude thiks you're processing players.

One of the more popular posts from a Bama Board. Not a guy that was thought to be crazy.

"I know it might not resonate with some folks here, but to me, DeBoer and the staff he's hiring, feels like a rejuvenation. The past 3 years especially have felt....off. We've had super talented teams, but my goodness they've been messy on the field and haven't looked like the "standard" we're used to.

Then we here from kids that are staying, like Lawson....and it feels like a purge of some locker room issues with those that are moving on. I think there have been to many "me" players and not enough "team" players.

Between the feeling of a staff rejuvenation and roster purge......I'm cautiously optimistic for 2024. I'd much rather watch a disciplined team that plays as a unit, than an undisciplined bunch of superstars that are worried about how much money they're making.

If DeBoer and staff keeps us in the top 10 in recruiting yearly....we're gonna be absolutely fine. Probably even just top 15. We have an absolute allstar coaching staff."

All you gotta do is check the years between Bear and Saban, 1983-2006. There was the Stallings title in 1992. But I don't think any Bama fans were happy with 4 5-loss, 2 6-loss, 2 7-loss, 1 8-loss and 1 9-loss seasons in 24 years.
