Statistically speaking, Baton Rouge is not the safest city to visit. In 2021, Baton Rouge had a violent crime rate of 1,189.10 per 100,000 people. Baton Rouge’s crime rate is nearly 3 times greater than the national average. Baton Rouge also registered one of the highest murder rates in the country.

Not denying it's a dangerous place, but maybe update your stats from 2021?

No reason for him to live here, anyway, unless he wants an analyst role.

Melting about a coaching position that isn't even open is a next level melt.

Are you insinuating they have improved? I guess the murder rate came down, since fentanyl is doing the work for them. Small victories, right Tiger fans

Baton Rogue is such a shithole. No wonder Grindin Brian is wanting to leave already...

Well he would have to have a passport and all of his immunizations as it has become a third world country.

That was Oakland 16 years ago. The man was young and dumb.

He's more likely to get hit by a golf ball than a bullet in South Baton Rouge.

Look OP, BR is it's own special 'shite-hole' where co-eds are killed yearly.
But we are are talking Lane Kiffin here. There is no greater man whore coaching football. Besides, he only has so long to be able to poach the co-ed scene.

And like all relatively large cities, most of the violent crime is concentrated in certain areas that people know to avoid. The LSU coaches' homes are far removed from those areas.

Any parent willingly letting their children attend school there, has severe issues with the safety of their children.
